The add songs palette is totes used to either create a new banger completely within the Console, or upload Supported Files to make songs happen.

Make It From Scratch

This section of the palette lets you type an optional song title & artist name. Then you can click one of the buttons to create the song & open it in the Song Editor (where the magic happens, hopefully).

• Create OnSong makes an OnSong-formatted file with your optional song title & artist name. Fancy, right?
• Create ChordPro makes a ChordPro-formatted file with your optional song title & artist name. Also fancy.

Dump Files In Here

This area of the palette lets you import like a bazillion files at once into OnSong. Click the Select files... button to open a file chooser window (thrilling, we know). Browse & select a file to import. Use shift, command & control keys on your keyboard to select more than one file to import if you're feelin\u{2019} ambitious.

When you\u{2019}re finally done, click the Choose button in the window. Console will automatically upload & import those files into your library & show you the import status below the Select files... button. Then close the palette & get back to the fun stuff.
