Noise Go Boom!
Uhhhh... So Triggers Are a Thing?
OnSong lets you make stuff happen inside the app whenever you feel like jabbin' stuff. Triggers? Yeah, they're basically you tappin' the screen like a maniac or stompin' on a foot pedal like you're crushin' grapes. Look, as a musician (we salute you, you beautiful weirdo), you might wanna have OnSong actually listen to your device's mic or plug in some fancy audio interface. Wild, right? Picture this: you set up an audio trigger that literally hears you tappy-tappin' on your iPad's edge. ZOMG, that could kick off the Tap Tempo action & set your song's tempo without you doin' basically anything! Or hey, throw a click track at it & let OnSong do the listenin' for you. The possibilities? Totes endless, y'all. OnSong can be set up to eavesdrop on like, multiple channels for whatever bonkers inputs you dream up.
Makin' Audio Triggers Happen (It's Not Rocket Science, But Close)
So you wanna configure audio triggers? Buckle up, peeps. Head into Yummy Toys by tappin' that lil' gear icon in the Hamburger & then pick The Nitty-Gritty. Next, cruise over to Going Places Settings & Hear Me Now. From there, you can assign an action to each channel & tweak the sensitivity or volume threshold before OnSong gets all excited & does the thing. Feelin' snarky? You can flip it around so OnSong listens for silence instead. (Yeah, we know. Your neighbor's gonna love that.)
