Blabber-Mouth Tools for Your Lyrics
The text tools palette is basically your Swiss Army knife for messin' with song words. Wanna change stuff fast? Fix those gnarly chord thingies? Yeah, this bad boy's got your back.
Hunt Down & Destroy
This part of the blabber-mouth arsenal lets you find & replace text in the Text Editor. Totes useful when you wanna swap out words or chords (especially if you're one of those bracket chord weirdos). Like, say you got [A4] all over the place & you're like "ZOMG, that should be [Asus4]"—boom, fixed.
Just type whatcha wanna find in box #1, type the replacement in box #2, then smash the Do the Thing button & watch the magic happen.
Chord Format Shenanigans
This section's got some clicky buttons that lemme you flip between the two chord styles we bothered to support. Got square brackets all over your lyrics? Congrats—Bracketed Chords mode auto-picked itself. No brackets? Cool, Chords Over Lyrics is your jam. Hit the other button to rewire your whole song into the format you actually want.
Switcin' between 'em is clutch when you're splittin' or mixin' lines. The chords stick with the lyrics like peanut butter on jelly, so you can actually rearrange stuff without chasin' floating chord symbols around. Then if you're feelin' fancy, flip back to chords-over-lyrics & position 'em like you're an actual musician or somethin'.
Space Damage Control
Sometimes when you copy-paste from Word or whatever dinosaur app you use, the spaces get all bleeped up. Chords end up like three counties to the right of where they should be. That's 'cause fancy fonts eat a million spaces to line stuff up.
Tap Fix Those Wrecked Spaces & we'll hunt down the chords, trim the spacing, & hope they land somewhere close to where they used to live. Then you can fine-tune from there like the perfectionist you are.
