Clicky Buttons Go Brrr

The menubar is basically your remote control for all the freakin' stuff you gotta do to manage your music. It's got a bunch of buttons. Here's what they do:

Playlist Biz

The big kahuna menu for wranglin' your songs. Peep your library, throw songs into sets, & organize your songbooks like you're Marie Kondo or somethin'.

Beam It Out

That up-arrow-in-a-box thingy. Lemme tell ya — export, email, print, or yeet your current song or set wirelessly to all your besties. ZOMG so many options!

The External Screen Shenanigans

Looks like a monitor icon. Wanna project lyrics at your audience without lookin' like a total dinosaur? Plug in an Apple Dock Connector to VGA Adapter, Apple Digital AV Adapter, or use AirPlay & an AppleTV with OnSong. Boom. Chord charts on the stage monitor. You're welcome.

The Bop-Along Menu

Headphones icon = play a backing track while you're starin' at chords like a confused musician. Also sets up your metronome because apparently you can't keep time. Auto-scroll duration? Check. Even hunts down newer versions of songs on iTunes for ya. We're basically your personal DJ.

Pedal Pusher Setup

Foot pedal icon. Set up your footsies for hands-free scrollin' so you can actually play your instrument instead of pokin' the screen like a caveman.

The Big Song Name Reveal

Dead center of the menubar screams the current song title at ya. Swipe left & right to peek at the set, next song, or stare at a timer like it's gonna make time move faster.

Team Talk Menu

Tap the screen or stomp a pedal to send messages to your band homies. 'Cause nothin' says "professional performance" like sendin' cryptic msgs during a gig.

The Sorting Stuff

Stick the current song into a set, book, or slap a star on it because you're feelin' fancy. When you mark somethin', that star lights up in the menubar. Congrats, you've got a star.

The Song Fixer-Upper

Opens the editor so you can butcher—I mean customize—chords, lyrics & metadata. Even helps you write songs from scratch if you're feelin' brave (or delusional).

Sticky Notes of Destiny

Looks like a sticky note. Doodle reminders on your chord chart like "Dave starts this one" or "Play it weird." Whatever floats your boat.

The Look-Feel Playground

Sliders icon. Change font sizes, colors, highlight the stuff you care about & ignore the rest. Transpose/capo your songs. Hide lyrics if you wanna be mysterious. You got mad power here, fam.

The Secret Sauce Menu

Gear icon = fancy advanced tools, editors & settings that make the nerds go wheee.

The menubar's got a thin, teal bar showin' you where you're at in your setlist. You can tweak this in Settings » Menu Settings » Menubar » Show Setlist Progress
