When Stuff Went Down

When the timeline screen is selected, OnSong uses non-linear autoscrollin’. This means you gotta record navigational events to play back when autoscroll is enabled. Srsly, it’s like a DJ setlist but for your eyeballs.

Recording the Goods

To record events, tap the Start Recordin’ button at the bottom of the screen. The menu vanishes faster than your motivation on a Monday so you can start recordin’ navigation events right away.

Scroll, zoom, select sections & even toggle linear autoscroll usin’ the autoscroll button. Each navigational event gets recorded into the timeline like breadcrumbs of your chaos. Tap & hold on the autoscroll button to open the autoscroll menu & stop recordin’.

Peep’n Your Events

Each event describes what kinda action got recorded, followed by how long to chill before playin’ the next event. You can tap on a timeline event to have it performed. It’s like havin’ a tiny robot inside your iPad doin’ exactly what you did. Creepy? Maybe.

Fixin’ Your Events

Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner to mess with your recorded timeline events. No judgment here, we all make mistakes.

Clearin’ the Slate

Tap the eraser icon on the lower left corner to nuke all timeline events & start fresh. OnSong will ask you to confirm you actually wanna delete everything because apparently we don’t trust y’all. Can’t blame us.
