OnSong Console for Mac be connectin' t' yer iPad or iPhone device usin' web-based standards, matey. T' make th' connectin' between yer Mac and iOS device, please watch our video tutorial, savvy?

Arrr, here be a few pointers t' keep in mind:

Same Wireless or Wired Network

Make sure that both o' yer devices be connected t' th' same computer network, ye scallywag. Most routers support both wired and wireless connections. While iOS devices typically be not connected t' a network with an Ethernet cable, yer Mac may be. Just make sure both be anchored t' th' same network, savvy?

Share Yer Library With Others

As a security precaution, ye need t' enable OnSong t' share yer library with other devices, Avast! T' do this, open th' Share Menu and then open th' Connect Screen. On th' Servers Tab there be a Share yer library with others switch that must be enabled, matey.

Network Security Settin's

Keep in mind that network security settin's can hamper a proper connection between th' Mac app and th' iOS device, Blimey! This connection uses OnSong Connect technology. This be workin' by settin' up yer iOS device as a web server and announces itself on th' network usin' multicast DNS, sometimes referred t' as Bonjour or mDNS. Some network routers may not support this protocol, or it may be limited due t' other network restrictions like firewalls, arrr!

Check with yer network administrator if ye experience issues, or try another network t' see if that be resolvin' th' connection problem, savvy?
