When ye import PDF or word processin' files, OnSong can only display those files "as-is". When ye open th' Style Preferences Menu, th' controls will be disabled and ye'll have one o' th' followin' options.

Extract and Edit

If ye be viewin' a file that be bein' viewed "as-is" and cannot be formatted or transposed, ye'll see a screen like show with th' option t' Extract and Edit. Tappin' on this button will open th' Song Editor and automatically extract text from th' document.

Use Text Version

If ye be currently viewin' an imported file, but ye have text content available, this button will appear allowin' ye t' toggle t' th' text-based chord chart. If ye need t' make changes t' th' text version, use th' Song Editor

If ye be viewin' SongSelect PDF chord charts, ye may still be able t' transpose th' song usin' th' Key and Capo controls, savvy?
