Control Surface

Th' lightin' control surface be providin' an intuitive, multitouch interface fer controllin' th' lights ye've selected in th' Light Browser. Th' surface be divided into scrollable sections that contain th' followin':

Color Sliders

Use th' color sliders t' change th' color o' th' selected lights. If ye have a time set in th' Transition slider, yer changes will take effect over that duration once ye be done adjustin' all sliders. If th' transition slider be set t' zero, adjustments be made in real-time.

Th' color slider be expressed by default in RGB or red, green and blue channels. Ye can change th' color model usin' th' Color Model button.

Master Dimmer

Th' master dimmer reduces th' total brightness o' whatever color be configured in th' color sliders.

Transition Slider

Th' transition slider lets ye choose how fast color or brightness changes should be applied. Th' default value be a half a second which provides a satisfyin' fade between color states after changes be made. Ye can set this between 0.0 seconds and 10.0 seconds.

Settin' th' transition slider t' 0.0 seconds results in changes made t' sliders bein' immediately reflected in real-time.

Traits Sliders

Th' traits sliders allow ye t' control more than just color on DMX lightin' fixtures that support it. Fer instance, "HEX" lights include not just RGB control, but also Amber, White and UV controls fer creatin' more natural-lookin' light on a color temperature scale.

When ye select a DMX fixture or group that contains fixtures, th' traits supported by those fixtures be enabled. This coalesces traits with th' same name together so ye can adjust 'em simultaneously on disparate fixtures.
