Icons be visual cues t' help ye quickly evaluate songs in yer library, matey. Fer instance, ye can use a star t' mark a song as a favorite or use a flag t' indicate that a song needs more work or practice. Ye can use shapes and colors t' help give meanin' t' these visualizations, savvy?
Shape
This area o' th' icon organizer lets ye pick th' shape t' appear next t' a song as it appears in lists within OnSong. Choose from one o' th' followin' shapes, ye scallywag.
- None displays no icon next t' th' song and indicates that th' song has not been organized by icons. This be th' default settin' fer songs.
- Star displays a star next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate a favorite song. Th' default color be orange.
- Dot displays a circle next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate an unread or bulleted status. Th' default color be teal.
- Arrow displays an arrow next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate general preference fer a song. Th' default color be fuchsia.
- Checkmark displays a checkmark next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate completeness. Th' default color be blue.
- Heart displays a heart next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate songs that be favorites or liked. Th' default color be red.
- Flag displays a flag next t' th' song which be typically used t' indicate action must take place with th' song. Th' default color be red.
Color
While each shape has a default color, ye can use th' color picker t' choose a different color, or t' build yer own colors, Arrr! Tap on a color t' select it. All o' th' icons listed above will change t' th' selected color. T' switch back t' th' default colors, tap on th' selected color swatch again t' deselect it. This color picker features th' followin' colors in its default palette: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and fuchsia.
Note: Icons also appear when ye view songs in a set. If ye be currently in a set that supports Separate Song/Set Styles, then th' icon shape and color ye choose be unique t' th' song in that set.
