Text
Text annotations be lettin' ye just type on yer chord chart or sheet music an' give ye th' flexibility t' add formattin'. Text annotations do not wrap within a box so ye'll be needin' t' add line breaks if ye want t' use multiple lines.
Addin'
When ye tap on th' Text option in th' Annotations Menu, th' Text Editor be opened an' ye can start typин' an' formattin' yer text. If ye don't type text or cancel, th' text annotation be deleted from th' page since it would be small an' hard t' select again, savvy?
Placin'
Ye use gestures t' manipulate text annotations on yer page, matey. Ye can tap t' select th' text an' then use yer one finger t' drag th' text around th' screen t' place it. Use two fingers t' move an' then rotate or pinch th' sticky note t' turn it or make it bigger or smaller. If ye be usin' a Mac, ye can use a mouse t' move, an' trackpad gestures t' rotate an' scale.
Editin'
Once text be on th' page, double-tap (iOS/iPadOS) or double-click (macOS) t' open th' Text Editor. Ye can also edit text right on th' page when ye tap (iOS/iPadOS) or click (macOS) on it when it be already selected. This will bring up th' on-screen keyboard if an external keyboard be not attached so ye can change th' content o' th' annotation inline, Arrr!
Context Menu
There be so much more that ye can do with a text annotation an' that be all done through a context menu, me hearty. On tap an' hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on th' text t' open th' context menu. Here ye can edit th' text, change formattin', pin, delete, or even add it t' yer annotations library.
Deletin'
T' delete a text annotation, ye can open th' context menu an' choose th' delete option, or open th' editor an' tap on th' trash can icon in th' menubar. Either way, ye can remove th' text without usin' an eraser or whiteout, savvy?
