The Aux Hookup

The AuxDock™ is this magical performance surface that yeets up from the bottom of your screen & turns your lil' device into a full bleepin' live music rig. Gnarly guitar effects pedals, a keyboard (because you're fancy), a chord arpeggiator (lol, fancy word), ambient tracks for when you're feelin' yourself, a drum machine (finally, a drummer who won't disappoint), vocal processor (fix your voice, bestie), multitrack mixer (it's chaos but make it organized), & way more all chillin' here so you can tweak your tone without freakin' out & losing your place. Oh & here's the cherry on top: every single change you make gets saved with the song you're on, so no more nervous sweatin' & button-mashing between songs. ZOMG, we literally thought of everything.

Unlock The Dock

The AuxDock gets unlocked by the OnSong^® AuxBox — the audio interface that's basically your roadie, your tech guy, & your therapist all in one box. Plug in an AuxBox & boom, the AuxDock shows up in your Widgets Menu from then on. Just crack open the Additions Menu from the menubar, flip to the Widgets tab, & toggle that AuxDock option that's sittin' there waitin' for you.

The AuxDock will literally pop open when you plug in your AuxBox (we're helpfully needy that way). Wanna change this? Head to the AuxDock Menu & toggle the Open When Connected option & live your best life.

Handle Bar

The tippy-top of the AuxDock is called the handle bar. It's got a minimize button, a grabber handle, & an options button. Basically all your buttons in one handy dandy spot.

Minimize Button

The button on the left is your "make this go away but not really" button. Tap it & the dock shrinks down til' you only see the handle bar. Tap the handle bar again & BAM, AuxDock's back, baby.

Grabber Bar

Dead center of the handle bar is the grabber bar. Drag anywhere on the dock to shrink or expand the AuxDock by axing panels or addin' 'em back. It's like tetris but with your audio.

Options Button

Over on the right side of the handle bar is the options button (shocking, right?). Tap it to open the AuxDock Menu where you can boss around what shows up & how pretty it looks.

Wanna nuke the AuxDock completely? Hit the Close button in the menu or toggle AuxDock on & off in the Widgets Menu.

Tabs

Tabs are basically a saved snapshot of the dock that remembers which panels are showin', in what order, & what tone vibe goes with 'em. Switch tabs & you get totally different panel setups so you can go from "guitar szn" to "keys szn" in literally one tap. It's chef's kiss efficient.

The default AuxDock hooks you up with eight tabs right outta the box, each one built for a different gig: Guitar, Keys, Pads, Chords, Vocals, Drums, Tracks & Mixer. You can rename 'em, recolor 'em, add your own custom ones, & delete the ones you'll never touch using the Tabs Panel.

Panels

Panels are the horizontal strips inside the dock. Tabs mash these together to make freakin' cool features. Like, the Keys tab smooshes a Toneboard & a Keyboard together & they actually play nice with each other. A tab can show one panel or like five stacked up, & each panel can be flipped on & off independently from the panels section of the AuxDock menu.

Panels always stack in the same order no matter which ones you switch on, so the dock stays chill & doesn't rearrange itself while you're mid-performance & stressed. Need a different order? Use the Rearrange… option in the menu & shuffle things around like you're organizin' a Spotify playlist.
