The menubar is basically your command center for all the stuff you need to wrangle your music. Like, it comes ready to go. But if you're feelin' fancy, you can Customize it to shuffle buttons around or yeet 'em entirely. Out of the box, it's got these bad bois:

The Songs Situation

This is where all the magic happens for managin' your songs. Dive into your library, import new tracks, organize 'em into sets—basically your whole music life lives here. Books? Collections? Yep, it's all in this menu too.

Share & Shout Out

That up arrow in a box? That's your ticket to spreadin' the love. Export, email, print, or beam your current song or set to the wireless void. You got options, bestie.

The Big Screen Vibes

This button looks like a computer monitor & lets you hook up an external monitor or projector to OnSong because apparently one screen isn't enough. Grab an Apple Digital AV Adapter, or throw some AirPlay & an AppleTV at it, & suddenly you're projecting lyrics for your adoring fans or showing chord charts to your bandmates on stage. You're welcome.

The Jam Booth

Headphones icon = your audio track playground. Set up a backing track, dial in your metronome tempo & time signature, lock in an autoscroll duration, or search iTunes for alternate versions of the song. Multi-tool vibes, no cap.

Actions Editor

This icon opens the Actions Editor so you can trigger stuff from foot pedals, MIDI, taps, & keyboard shortcuts. Fancy remote control energy.

The Main Event (Literally)

Dead center of the menubar: YOUR SONG NAME IN BIG LETTERS. Swipe left/right or context menu your way to other views—the set, next song, timer, whatever. It's the VIP spot.

Team Talkie Menu

Tap the screen or stomp a pedal to send messages to your crew. Live performance comms ftw. Stay connected while you're up there shreddin'.

The Jukebox Organizer

Throw the current song into a set or book, slap a star or icon on it for easy findin'. When your song's got an icon? That star lights up in the menubar. Boom.

Files & Extras

Pages with a checkmark = your attached files hub. Peek at whatever's linked to the song, or jump into the Song Editor to tweak text versions & metadata. All your bonus content in one spot.

Doodle & Annotate Station

Pen & note icon = your creativity corner. Scribble annotations & drawings right on your chord chart. Set up viewports, toggle widgets—it's your tabbed wonderland of customization.

The Aesthetic Dashboard

Sliders icon = instant style overhaul. Font sizes, styles, highlight colors, transpose/capo—flip it all on or off. Headers, lyrics, chords, diagrams, capo application? You're the boss. Make it YOUR sheet music.

The Secret Sauce Menu

Gear icon = your power tools. Advanced stuff, editors, settings—the deep cuts.

The menubar shows your progress through the setlist as a skinny teal line. Tweak this in Settings » Menu Settings » Menubar » Show Setlist Progress
