How U Interact w/ Stuff

OnSong is basically designed so you can stop worrying about literally everything else & just vibe with your tunes. The OnSong interface? Yeah, it's split into these wild sections:

The Status Bar Situation

The status bar is that thing your phone's operating system throws at you with the time, WiFi drama, & battery panic levels. Riveting stuff.

The Hamburger Menu

This bad boy is where you go to access literally all the functions for wrangling your library & the songs you're currently staring at like they owe you money.

Song Viewer Extravaganza

Most of the screen is just the song you're trying not to mess up right now. But there are these fancy overlay zones that give you tools to use while you're sweatin' bullets on stage.

The Live Bar™ (We Didn't Think That Through)

Down in the bottom right corner lives the live bar—packed with big ol' buttons you can tap during your big moment. Autoscroll? Check. Back tracks? Yep. Metronome? Totes. Ad-hoc networking mode toggle? Because apparently you needed that. ZOMG.

The Registration Screen (aka The Nag)

When you crack open OnSong, boom—Registration or Getting Started screen pops up like a surprise party nobody asked for. You can shut this down once you've squeezed out all the info you need to actually use OnSong like a pro. BTW, this screen takes a chill pill if a menu or some other modal dialog is already chillin' on screen.

You might also get bugged to turn on push notifications. OnSong wants to hit you up if something's on fire or you need to know something like, right now.

Gestures (For the Fancy Folks)

A few rad optional gestures exist so you can speedrun to the menubar & songs menu without lookin' like you forgot what you were doin'.

Compact Mode (For Tiny Screens)

Usin' OnSong on an iPhone or iPod Touch? Lol, the interface flips out & gets all smol & adorable to actually fit your pocket-sized dreams.
