Livin' on the Edge (Bar Stuff)
The live bar comes with four buttons by default. ZOMG, they're arranged in a square in the lower right corner like some kinda organized peeps. Look, if you don't actually use all that stuff, you can totally ditch buttons so you stop accidentally bonkin' 'em or cluttering up your screen like a digital hoarder.
Clicky Thingies On Your Screen
Here's where you toggle each button on & off like the indecisive human you are.
Lemme Hear the Jams
Flips the audio button on the live bar on or off. It's on by default because we assume you wanna hear stuff.
Auto-Scroll-O-Matic
Turns the autoscroll button on & off. Default is on because your fingers are lazy.
Tick-Tock Button
Toggles the metronome button on the live bar. Default is on so you don't embarrass yourself in front of real musicians.
WiFi Shenanigans
Flips the networking button on & off. Default is on because we're all connected whether we like it or not.
Make Buttons THICC
Doubles the button size if you enable this. Default is on. iPhone only, because iPad users don't need help, apparently.
Where's My Stuff?
Lets you pick where these buttons show up on your screen. Revolutionary, I know.
How They Act
Control how these buttons behave around other stuff on the screen. Groundbreaking.
Show/Hide with Menubar Drama
Makes the live bar appear & disappear based on what the menubar's doin'. Your options:
- Off — live bar just chills there unless you manually hide it. (Default, obvs.)
- On — live bar copies the menubar's homework. Menubar hides? Live bar vanishes too. It's clingy.
- Invert — live bar does the opposite of the menubar because rebellion. Menubar hides? Live bar shows up like "surprise!" Menubar shows? Live bar peace-outs.
Make It Pretty
Tweak how these buttons actually look. Vanity, thy name is User.
Colors & Stuff
Pop open a color picker & mess with the live bar button colors & see-through-ness. Whatever opacity you pick? That's for when the button's chillin'. When it's actually doin' stuff, it gets twice as visible because contrast matters, apparently.
Srsly, Where'd All The Live Bar Options Go?
OnSong used to dump everything here. Now we scattered it everywhere because organization, right?
- Audio stuff lives in Settings » Live Settings » Audio Playback.
- Autoscroll options chilled out in Settings » Live Settings » Autoscroll.
- Networking is now under Settings » Menu Settings » Sharing.
These settings let you configure all the nerdy advanced options for each live bar button. Stuff's organized by button, & the top section is for turnin' buttons visible or invisible on that live bar in the corner. You're welcome.
