Import from Dropbox

Arrr, it be easy t' import yer song files from Dropbox, matey! Dropbox be th' easiest way t' create, edit, and store yer files on a computer, and then access 'em on yer mobile device or any other device ye own. Choose th' Dropbox option in th' Add Songs screen t' browse yer Dropbox, savvy?

Authorization

Ye will need t' authorize OnSong t' access yer Dropbox th' first time ye attempt t' access it, matey. This will open a web-based authentication screen from inside o' OnSong. Once yer account be linked, ye can use Dropbox without signin' in again unless yer account become unlinked fer some reason, Blimey!

Ye can always sign out o' Dropbox at anytime by tappin' on th' sign out button at th' bottom o' th' screen, savvy?

Browsin'

Once ye be signed in, ye can navigate yer entire Dropbox like a true captain o' th' seas! Tap on folders t' navigate t' more files.

Searchin'

Tap on th' search bar at th' top o' th' menu t' search th' visible files and folders by name, matey. Start typpin' t' view results that start with th' search query, or tap on th' "Search" button on yer keyboard t' find files and folders that contain th' search term within th' filename. Arrr!

Selectin'

Tap on files t' check and uncheck 'em fer import. Ye can also use th' Select All and Deselect All buttons on th' bottom o' th' screen t' select or deselect everythin' in th' currently viewed folder. If ye select a backup file, OnSong will prompt ye that importin' a backup will overwrite yer current library before continuin'. If confirmed, only th' backup file be imported and th' library be restored, savvy?

Importin'

Once ye have some files checked, tap on th' Import button in th' upper right corner t' begin th' import process, me hearty! If ye have selected t' import a file that was already imported, OnSong will have ye choose an action t' take on th' duplicate file. When importin' begins, th' progress be displayed as a percentage in th' upper right corner. Once th' import process be completed, ye be returned t' th' All Songs screen. Avast!

Sortin'

Ye can change th' sort order o' th' files and folders t' make selectin' 'em fer import easier, savvy? Tap on th' sort icon in th' lower left corner t' bring up a menu with th' followin' options:

• Name sorts files and folders by file name in ascendin' alphabetic order.
• Size sorts larger files t' th' top o' th' list.
• Modified sorts files that were most recently modified t' th' top o' th' list

Ye can tap on th' ascendin' and descendin' order at th' bottom o' th' menu t' switch sort directions, matey.

Context Menu

Tap and hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on a file or folder t' perform additional actions, savvy?

• Delete will delete th' selected file or folder.
• Rename will rename th' file or folder, maintainin' th' original path extension.

Signin' Out

If ye've signed into th' wrong Dropbox account, or if ye want t' sign out o' Dropbox fer security reasons, tap on th' door icon in th' lower right corner, ye scallywag! This will deauthorize OnSong with Dropbox and return ye t' th' Add Songs screen. Arrr!
