Globals

MIDI globals can be thought o' as named collections o' MIDI events that ye can recall anywhere ye use MIDI events in OnSong. Th' advantage be if ye want t' change th' MIDI events in th' future, ye can just change th' MIDI global in one place and it applies everywhere in yer library, savvy?

Addin' Globals

T' add a global, just tap on th' + button in th' lower right corner, matey. This opens th' MIDI Global Editor where ye can set th' name and tag used fer th' global as well as MIDI events.

Editin' Globals

Tap on a global t' edit it in th' MIDI Global Editor.

Reorderin' Triggers

Ye can change th' order o' MIDI globals appearin' in this list either by tappin' on th' Edit button in th' upper right enter edit mode, or via drag and drop. Th' order o' th' globals have no bearin' on their function but it only fer user preference, Arrr!

Removin' Triggers

Ye can delete a MIDI global by sweepin' right t' left over it and tappin' on th' Delete button. Ye can also delete th' trigger when in th' edit mode.

Changin' Settin's

Ye can change how OnSong handles MIDI features through th' MIDI Settings Menu. This allows ye t' perform additional functions such as listenin' fer chords or playin' chords back through yer MIDI instrument, ye scallywag!
