Images

Images be viewed usin' th' web-based image viewer in OnSong and be very limited due t' th' file format. They be displayed "as-is" in OnSong and can't be edited, formatted, or participate in low light mode.

Ye can extract th' text o' an image file within OnSong usin' th' Song Editor and tappin' on th' Extract Text button in th' Conversion Toolbar that appears before th' on-screen keyboard be revealed. OnSong will process th' file usin' Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and th' result will most likely end with text. Ye will then need t' review and tweak th' text into a file format that OnSong understands.

Ye will likely find issues with th' resultin' text dependin' on th' quality o' th' image. For instance, if ye attempt t' extract text from a photo o' a beautiful sunset, ye will be sorely disappointed, matey. But if ye extract text from a good image o' a text document from a scanner, ye will have decent results, savvy? Ye will want t' check th' spacin' o' chords since that may be lost durin' th' OCR process. Ye can make changes t' th' text-based document after extraction usin' th' Song Editor.
