Duplicate Files

When ye import files into OnSong, th' filename wit' which ye originally imported th' file be retained in th' library. This filename be used t' uniquely identify th' file, savvy?

When ye be browsing files t' import, these files may appear t' be faded out t' indicate that th' file had already been imported. When ye attempt t' import one or more files wit' th' same original filename, OnSong will recognize these conflicts and give ye one o' th' followin' options:

Update

This option will update th' original file wit' th' new version. For instance, if ye've imported a PDF file and made changes t' that file, importin' it again wit' th' Update option will save th' new file over th' old file and display it in OnSong.

Duplicate

This option can be used t' create a new version o' th' song wit' th' same file name. This allows ye t' import songs wit' th' same file name but as different songs, matey.

Skip

This option will skip over files that had already been imported. This be handy for preventin' updates t' existin' files but still allows ye t' import multiple files that may be new, Arrr!

Cancel

Cancels th' import process, allowin' ye t' change th' selection o' files.
