Ur Songbook

Books are basically your way of pretending you're organized. Use 'em to sort by band, genre, holidays, or literally whatever floats your boat. Toss songs in & out of books all day—don't worry, the song itself ain't gettin' cloned. It's just... chilling in the book. Magic? Kinda.

Throwin' Books Together

Wanna make a book? Tap that + button chillin' in the lower right corner & boom—Add New Book Screen appears like magic. Type some name, tap Done, & congrats, you got yourself a book. Revolutionary stuff.

Messin' with Books

You can edit what songs vibe in a book, rename it, do fancy stuff, whatever. Tap the Edit button up top right to jump into Editing Mode & then tap your book's name to peek at the Action Menu. Feelin' spicy? Tap & hold on a book (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) to unlock the context menu. We got secrets.

Crammin' Songs Into Books

There's like a bajillion ways to add songs to books, srsly:

  • Pickin' Your Jams happens when you bounce into Editing Mode & tap the book name to vibe with the Action Menu.
  • Imported Songs are basically obsessed with the book you picked. Make a book & select it before you import—they'll know what's up.
  • Book Placement Magic lives inside the Place In Book Menu hangin' out in the Song Editor.
  • Book Tags are your secret cheat code in text-based docs you import or scribble in the Song Editor. Save that to your library & poof—books auto-create & your song lands right there.
  • The Add Songs Situation has an Add Existing Songs button so you can yeet old songs into your currently vibin' book.

Sortin' Your Book Collection (& Feelin' Smug About It)

Wanna rearrange how books show up? Tap the sort button down left to sort however you want. Then tap Edit up top right to get into Editing Mode. From there, drag those reordering handles on the right of each row & make your library look exactly how you want it. Flex season.
