Hamburger

This menu gives you access to every bleepin' setting crammed into the Chordboard, including the following:

Chord Style

How the chord pads get their fancy names. The actual chords? Totes stay the same — we're just messin' with the labels like a bored teenager with a Sharpie.

• Numbers — the Nashville flex: 1 through 6.
• Roman — I through vi, where uppercase means major & lowercase means you're sad.
• Solfege — Do through La, for when you wanna sound like you took music theory.

Output

This is where we decide if your Chordboard's notes escape into the wild via MIDI, or stay trapped inside like a sad song in your feels.

• Local — sends the notes straight to an adjacent toneboard. Cozy.
• Off — MIDI notes go to die. Default, because we like silence.
• All Channels — MIDI notes blow up everywhere. YOLO.
• Channel 1-16 — pick your poison: one channel, or go full buffet & mix & match.

Bass

What your left hand's secretly doin' under the chord while nobody's lookin'.

• Shape — Off, Root, Root + 5th or Root + Octave. Tap the panel's Bass button to cycle like you're flipping through a playlist; the menu lets you teleport straight to the one you want.
• Rhythm — how often the bass note nags you: Hold to let it hang around, or Whole, Half, Quarter or Eighth notes if you're feelin' rhythmic.

Feel

Humanization — aka "the imperfections that prove a robot didn't write this because robots are scary."

• Timing — Pull to lag behind like you overslept, On for boring dead center (default), Push to rush ahead like you're late for prom.
• Looseness — how much your timing's all over the map: Tight (default), Loose, or Sloppy (no judgment).
• Dynamics — velocity chaos: Even (default), Lively, or Wild (but like, musically wild, not feral).

Feel can be toggled on & off from the panel's Feel button without even opening this menu. Lazy perfection unlocked.

Arp

The arpeggio's shape & speed — same menu that pops up when you long-press the Arp button, but now you found the cheat code.

Strum

Strum patterns, your custom franken-patterns, & how sloppy the rake is — same menu the Strum button shows when you get impatient & long-press it.

Quantize

How the Chordboard judges you for tapping slightly off the beat like a rhythm machine.

• Quantize To — where your tragically late tap goes: next Beat, or next Measure (for when you're really struggling).
• Leniency — how forgiving we're feelin' about early arrivals. Strict means no mercy; Tight, Standard & Loose let you be progressively more of a hot mess before we drag your chord back.

Quantizing itself toggles on & off from the beat sync control on the panel, so we're not gonna repeat ourselves like your mom.

Remove

Yeets the Chordboard outta here. It's red because it messes with your whole vibe, but chill — nothin' actually disappears forever. Just flip it back on via Panels in the AuxDock menu & boom, it's like it never left. All your settings are still there, judgin' you.

Pro tip: if your Chordboard sounds like a robot having a bad day, the magic fix is usually in Feel, not your pattern. Timing on Pull & Looseness on Loose is literally the difference between a part that grooves & one that just… exists.
