OnSong 2023.6

OnSong 2023.6 was released on December 1, 2023. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:

Added

  • Added the ability for multiple selections to work the same on macOS.
  • Added a notice for users to indicate when "Upgrade Library" is complete.
  • Added the ability when browsing topics to only search by keyword using a setting.

Changes

  • Changed the swipe to delete/remove sets to include archive/unarchive.
  • Changed deep searching of songs to also search keywords if specified.

Updates

  • Updated to build under iOS/iPadOS 17.
  • Updated translations.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where deleting search criteria continues to filter by previous search criteria.
  • Fixed an issue that prevents songs from being added to sets and books on a Mac using multiselect.
  • Fixed an issue where tablature lines containing no notes is interpreted as a chord and formatted as such.
  • Fixed an issue where monospaced fonts are not displayed as monospaced in Console when the host computer does not include the font specified in settings.
  • Fixed an issue where deleting a set does not update the browse menu quantities.
  • Fixed an issue downloading content from the console when the title contains a unicode character.
  • Fixed an issue with user interface element alignment when switching libraries on macOS.
  • Fixed an issue that prevents songs from being added to sets and books using multiselect on macOS.
  • Fixed an issue with Bing integration due to Microsoft migrating and deprecating search API.
  • Fixed an issue where PDF documents bounce back to the top when tapping to page down too quickly.
  • Fixed an issue configuring the play/pause button on the Vidami pedal.
  • Fixed an issue where OnSong Console only prints in the master key when printing from a separate style set.
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong key is displayed in the song list in OnSong Console when viewing a set with separate styles.
  • Fixed an issue where the search criteria stays in search bar after a book or set change.
  • Fixed an issue where the vertical menubar disappears after leaving and coming back into the app and narrower menu widths.
  • Fixed an issue where page breaks were being imported as multiple songs.
  • Fixed a crash condition caused by Apple Music tracks containing slashes caused by changes in iOS 17.
