OnSong 2022.7

OnSong 2022.7 was released on January 9, 2023. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:

Additions

  • Added the ability to view user manual and video tutorial help through an app-wide help button.
  • Added the ability to disable and enable the global help button.
  • Added the ability to perform a Gear » Switch » To action to switch to a specific gear from a trigger.
  • Added a warning that the SongSelect v1.0 API and user interface is deprecated at the end of the year.

Changes

  • Changed the app to use a common website host and changed that host to test.onsongapp.com in the beta version.
  • Changed how the date and time pickers align against the right edge of the cell in the set editor and custom report editor.
  • Changed the SongSelect settings screen to allow the CCLI License Number and Organization Name to be changed when not signed it.
  • Changed the reset viewport option to scale the viewer to 100% is scaled up.
  • Changed the way you can toggle between print modes in the print preview screen and deemphasized the scaling of the printout.
  • Changed the time picker in the set editor to choose times in 5 minute intervals.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where setting the tap channel in the MIDI settings screen if the song didn't have a tempo assigned would have no effect.
  • Fixed an issue where the reset actions for each song was always turned on when configuring multiple actions.
  • Fixed an issue where the scroll indicator color is not changed after changing settings without a reboot.
  • Fixed an issue where SongSelect ChordPro import where the {line_wrap} syntax is skipping lyrics.
  • Fixed an issue where CCLI charts with hyphens are showing spaces between words and should not.
  • Fixed an issue where lyrics imported from a PraiseCharts are double spaced.
  • Fixed an issue where if lyrics preview was enabled and the app is restarted, the widget is not automatically added to the screen.
  • Fixed an issue where ChordPro files may not be rendered due to how they are presented from the database.
  • Fixed an issue where MIDI is sent on song change instead of on playback.
  • Fixed an issue where very large OnSong database files could not be fixed due to their size.
  • Fixed an issue where changes scene sequences on lights would not be saved.
  • Fixed an issue where tapping on the search index in the chord diagram editor would not scroll up to the search bar.
  • Fixed an issue where macOS Ventura shows a thick border on the right side of the Chord Diagram Editor.
  • Fixed an issue where making changes to actions to sticky notes in books with separate styles enabled would not save changes.
  • Fixed an issue where artists are appearing in case sensitive groups when browsing by artist.
  • Fixed an issue with downloader priority in OnSong 2022.
  • Fixed an issue where single file OnSong archive files import songs but not into the set.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the help button to appear offset incorrectly on iPad mini due to an apparent iPad mini flaw.
  • Fixed an issue where the drawer will become black if you open the drawer, close the menu, and open it again.
  • Fixed an issue when opening OnSong where it loads a blank song in some rare cases.
  • Fixed an issue where text files marked to use the imported file instead of OnSong are being rendered as text-based chord charts.
  • Fixed an issue where the drawing tool menu is not accessible on an iPhone.
  • Fixed an issue where the same size shows for all libraries in system information.
  • Fixed a performance issue when changing songs inside of a set when there are hundreds of sets loaded but not listing songs.
  • Fixed a crash condition when access out of bounds sections within the PP7 integration.
  • Fixed a crash condition when selecting a section in a malformed song and MIDI broadcast of sections is enabled.
  • Fixed a potential crash condition when opening the songs menu.
  • Fixed a potential crash condition when sending external video settings to Chromecast.
