OnSong 2022.5

OnSong 2022.5 was released on September 6, 2022. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:

Additions

  • Added the ability to have OnSong schedule sets on typical days with an option to change the days it uses. »
  • Added the ability to always select upcoming sets in the "history" screen. »
  • Added the ability for text in search results to be underlined with the search values. »
  • Added the ability to pair and assign actions to the Vidami Blue foot pedal. »
  • Added the ability to select the product to download when selecting a PraiseCharts product pack. »
  • Added the ability to view a link on how to download OnSong 2020 instead of purchasing OnSong 2022 if detected. »
  • Added the ability when importing songs and a set is selected, to automatically add to that set.
  • Added the ability through a setting to swap the attachments menu for the original song editor in the menubar and choose attachments within the editor.
  • Added the ability print and export PDF files with Clips.
  • Added the ability to prompt for a song title when importing content without a song title.
  • Added a video to be shown to Beta team participants when the app loads.

  • Changed the typeahead search to search for words contained in the title. »

  • Changed the foot pedals list to dim discontinued pedals and place them at the bottom of the list. »
  • Changed the order of foot pedal options to reflect popularity and availability. »
  • Changed the icon used to import songs to differentiate from other + buttons in the system. »
  • Changed the create account screen to display the OnSong 2020 installation instructions at the bottom. »
  • Changed the audio media editor to allow missing track files or Apple Music links to be reestablished. »
  • Changed how files are opened in OnSong to present the update/duplicate/skip prompt if needed.
  • Changed how OnSong imports files from apps that use a single filename to always make unique songs.
  • Changed the way playback notifications are requested from the Apple Music to attempt to avoid crash conditions in the SDK.
  • Changed PDF generation to include a cancel button and progress indication.
  • Changed file write operations to account for the device running out of storage space.
  • Changed the way PraiseCharts handles lyrics slides products to make them unsupported.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue when exporting a set when going through the Export option in the Add Songs menu.
  • Fixed an issue where making edits to a song in a set would result in being navigated to the first song in the set.
  • Fixed an issue where selecting Export > File Sharing from the Add Songs screen was using the last selected destination like Dropbox instead.
  • Fixed an issue in the account editor where the incorrect timeframe for support would be shown.
  • Fixed an issue where updating MIDI metadata tags in Console does not update the MIDI of the song.
