OnSong 1.955 Manual
Autoscroll
OnSong has the capability to auto scroll through a song. This goes from the top of the page to the bottom over a period of time. This period of time is set as the duration of the song. OnSong originally used the tempo of the song to determine the scroll speed, but this proved complicated to adjust for most users. You now set the duration of the song in the Playback Menu, by long pressing the autoscroll button in the Live Bar, or by adding the "Duration" metatag in the Song Editor.
Starting and Stopping Autoscroll
Autoscrolling can be toggled on and off using the down arrow icon in the Live Bar in the lower right of the screen. Once scrolling reaches the end of the song, it stops. At any time, you may navigate the song, and scrolling will continue to run until it reaches the end of the page. Autoscroll is also turned off when you navigate to another song.
Indicators
OnSong features colored bars on the side of the page that help you visually located where you are on the scrolling page. There are two indicators. The first is a solid color and indicates your approximate location on the page. The second is faded and indicates the section of the song that is currently active. This is useful if you are projecting lyrics while autoscrolling the song.
Triggers
Autoscrolling can also trigger other actions to occur such as starting an audio backing track or the metronome. You can configure this in Live Bar Options in OnSong settings.
