Sticky Notes

OnSong is designed to replace paper, so it's only natural to use metaphors and tools that we've come to rely on with paper charts. Sticky notes allow you to apply notes to a song to remind you of who's starting the song or other hints that help you play.

Adding

To add a sticky note on the page, tap on the sticky note icon in the menu bar to open the Annotations Menu. Tap on the Sticky Note option and the note will be applied to the page. The Sticky Note Editor is automatically opened so you can start typing.

Editing

Once a sticky note is on the page, tap on it to reveal icons (iPad only). To edit the sticky note, tap on the pencil icon on the right or double tap on the sticky note to open the Sticky Note Editor.

You can also tap and hold on the sticky note to open the Note Style Menu. This will let you change the sticky note's appearance.

Placing

You can place your sticky notes on the page by simply tapping and dragging your finger. Use two-finger pinch and twist to scale and rotation the note on the screen. OnSong lets you scale the note between 50% and 150% of it's original size. You can also rotate note between -45º and 45º.

Deleting

To delete a sticky note, tap on it to reveal icons along the bottom (iPad only). Tap on the trash can icon to delete the note. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.

You can also delete the note within the Sticky Note Editor when you edit the note.
